Setting up a Bluetooth Connection with Mobile Devices

The PA system features a Bluetooth receiver allowing you to stream music wirelessly from your mobile
devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks.
1
To activate the Bluetooth module press and hold the PAIR button for 2 seconds after switching on. A
signal will sound.
2
Shortly press the PAIR button again to enter the pairing mode.
3
Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select "
from the list and connect the devices.
4
The PAIR LED will light solid while pairing. It will flash when the Bluetooth source is paired. To reset
pairing press and hold the PAIR button for 2 seconds.
5
Now play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the sound will come out of the PA
system. Mix the Bluetooth signal to the master signal using the level control in channel CH 5/6.

Using wireless microphones (accessory)

1
For operation the microphones require two 1.5 V AA batteries each. Remove the cover of the battery
compartment and insert two batteries as indicated in the compartment.
2
Connect the USB dongle to the USB port. Then set the sliding switch on the microphones to the "ON"
position. Once the radio transmission is established, the reception indicators on the PA system light up.
Adjust the desired volume of the audio signal received with the control VOLUME. To mute a
microphone during operation, set the sliding switch to its center position "MUTE". Then no sound will be
transmitted.
Note
As the transmission quality depends on local conditions, please observe the following items for optimum
receiving:
• maintain a line-of-sight between the microphone and the PA system.
• make sure the distance between the microphones and the PA system is not too long.
• make sure the reception is not disturbed by objects in the transmission path; avoid placing the
microphones and the receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present and computers or
other HF-generating equipment (min. 50 cm distance).
• make sure the capacity of batteries is always sufficient.
3
After operation, switch off the microphones by set the sliding switch to the "OFF" position. If the
microphones are not used for a longer period, please remove the batteries to prevent damage in case
of battery leakage.
