Quick freezing / Quick refrig-
erating
The appliance lets you select the lowest re-
frigerating and/or freezing temperature in a
quick and easy way via the "Quick freezing"
and "Quick refrigerating" settings.
After 26 hours, the appliance automatically
switches back to normal mode. You can also
end "Quick freezing" and "Quick refrigerating"
manually.

Select the (18) QUICK FRZ setting "Quick
freezing" to pre-chill the freezer area before
storing food there or to freeze fresh food.
1. Press the (32) MODE selection button

symbol appears on the display. The (17)
signal indicates the temperature setting
−24 °C for the freezer compartment.
2. Once the temperature in the freezer com-
partment is −18 °C (check with a fridge/
freezer thermometer), you can store the
frozen food in the freezer compartment.
3. If the freezer temperature is −22° C, you
can store fresh foods. The temperature in
the freezer compartment rises temporar-
ily.
4. After 24 hours, the goods are frozen
to the core. Press the MODE selection
button enough times until the
FRZ symbol disappears from the display.
"Quick freezing" is switched off.
Quick refrigerating
Select the (19) QUICK REF "Quick refriger-
ating" setting when you would like a can you
