Disassembly
6.1
Disassembling the acoustic curve
Acoustic curves are disassembled as follows:
1.
Clean the worst of the dust and dirt from the acoustic curve.
2.
Lay the acoustic curve on a soft surface, e.g. a carpet.
3.
Loosen the 8 screws with a hex key and remove the screws and the two metal plates from
the connecting points on the aluminium base.
4.
Push the side elements of the acoustic curve firmly upwards to release the connecting
pieces.
5.
You may find it easier to stand the acoustic curve upright after removing the metal plates.
Then place an object of 2-3 cm thickness (e.g. a book) under one of the side elements and
press down firmly on the middle element. The side element should push upwards out of the
connecting pieces. Repeat the procedure for the second side element.
The acoustic curve has been dissembled.
