Changing cylinders

Residual gas: Do not smoke, avoid open flames!
DuoControl enables replacement of an empty cylinder without
interrupting the operation of devices currently consuming the
gas. Non-return valves integrated into the inlet connecting
piece prevent gas from escaping when only one gas cylinder
is attached for a short time ("Operating with only one gas
cylinder").
– Turn the control knob (a) by 180 degrees or half of a full turn
until it stops and the former reserve cylinder becomes the
operating cylinder. After the cylinder change the full gas
cylinder is available again as the reserve cylinder.
The status display (b) changes to green.
– Close the empty cylinder's valve and screw off the high
pressure hose.
– Screw the high pressure hose onto the full gas cylinder and
open the cylinder's valve.
The status display (b) remains green.
Anytime after making changes, check the hose connec-
tion to the cylinder valve for leaks (see "Checking for
leaks in the high pressure area").

Hose Change

We recommend the Truma spanner (part no. 50020-61500)
for screwing the hoses on and off. This provides the necessary
torque and prevents damage to the thread caused by using
the wrong tool.
– Close gas cylinder valve.
– Unscrew high-pressure hose from gas cylinder (or adapter)
and from DuoControl inlet.
When performing a hose change, please ensure that
the white gasket provided with the hose (hose outlet
– regulator inlet) is correctly installed and not damaged.
We recommend that the gasket (part no. 50020-76300)
be replaced with every hose change.
– Screw country-specific high-pressure hose to DuoControl
inlet and cylinder (or to adapter).
– Open gas cylinder valve.
– When using high-pressure hoses with hose rupture protection,
press green button.
– Check hose connection to cylinder valve and DuoControl
inlet for leaks after every modification (see "High-pressure
area leak testing").
