Dosimeter SOEKS 01M Prime, hereafter referred to as the device, is intended to

measure accumulated radiation dose, to define radiation background level and

to identify radioactive contaminated foods and construction supplies.

The device defines radiation background in terms of ionizing radiation rate

(gamma rays and beta particles flux) and with taking into consideration the
x-rays.

The Geiger-Mueller counter tube fulfils a function of ionizing radiation measuring

transductor in the device.
