de Allgemeines
Der 19" LED S Flipdown Monitor ist ein motorgetriebener
Schwenkmonitor. Die prozessorgesteuerte Schwenkmechanik
befindet sich im Monitor.
Für die Montage des Monitors ist die spezielle Halterung
7 620 340 001 (separates Erzeugnis) zu verwenden.
Der Monitor darf nur in dieser Halterung betrieben werden und ist
ausschließlich für die Deckenmontage bestimmt.
Funktion
Der Monitor ist betriebsbereit, wenn die Betriebsspannung an
Pin1 von Stecker C1 anliegt. Wird auch an Pin4 von Stecker C1 die
Betriebsspannung angelegt, fährt der Monitor aus, die LED's
leuchten und die Videodarstellung beginnt. Bei der Signaldarstel-
lung hat das Signal an C2 Vorrang vor C3. Liegt an Pin4 von
Stecker C1 keine Spannung an, wird die Videodarstellung beendet
und der Monitor fährt zu. Sobald der Monitor eingefahren ist,
gehen die LEDs aus.
Die Schwenkmechanik ist mit einem Drehmomentbegrenzer vor
Zerstörung abgesichert. Wird der Monitor manuell aus den Endla-
gen bewegt, fangen die LEDs an zu blinken und der Monitor fährt
nach kurzer Zeit wieder auf die gewählte Position. Hat er diese
Position erreicht, leuchten die LEDs dauerhaft. Die Schwenkbe-
wegung dauert ca. 6 Sekunden. Wenn der Schwenkvorgang
behindert wird und nach 10 Sekunden nicht abgeschlossen ist,
schwenkt der Monitor zurück und versucht es erneut. Wird 3mal
hintereinander die Zeit überschritten, bleibt der Monitor stehen.
Erst eine Signaländerung an Pin4 von Stecker C1 lässt den Moni-
tor wieder Schwenken.
Folgende Hinweise sind zu beachten:
u Für den Einbau und die Einhaltung der gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen ist der Fahrzeughersteller verantwort-
lich.
u Der Ein- und Ausbau des Monitors in die Halterung
darf nur durch geschultes Fachpersonal bei stehendem
Fahrzeug vorgenommen werden.
u Der Montageort muß eine starre tragende Fläche mit
ausreichender Stabilität sein.
u Auf Rahmen und Sichtfl äche des Monitors darf kein
Druck ausgeübt werden.
u Technisch bedingt sind Pixelfehler laut Datenblatt-
Definition zulässig.

The 19" LED S Flipdown Monitor is amotor-driven swivelling
monitor. The processor controlled swivelling mechanism is
integrated in the monitor.
The special bracket 7 620 340 001 (separate product) must be
used to mount the monitor.
The monitor must only be operated whilst it is installed in this
bracket and must only be mounted from the ceiling.
Function
The monitor is ready for operation when the operating voltage is
present at Pin 1 of plug C1. If the operating voltage is also applied
to Pin 4 of plug C1, the monitor swivels open, the LEDs light up
and video is displayed. When displaying a signal, the signal
present at C2 has priority over C3. If there is no voltage present
at Pin 4 of plug C1, the video signal ceases to be displayed and
the monitor swivels shut. The LEDs switch off as soon as the
monitor is fully retracted.
The swivelling mechanism is protected against damage by a
torque limiter. If the monitor is moved away from its end posi-
tions, the LEDs start fl ashing and the monitor returns to the
selected position after a short time. Once it reaches this position,
the LEDs light up continuously. The swivelling movement takes
approx. 6 seconds. If the swivel operation is impeded and has not
been completed after 10 seconds, the monitor swivels back and
tries again. If the time limit is exceeded 3 times in row, the
monitor remains stationary. The monitor will then only swivel
again if a signal change is detected at Pin 4 of plug C1.
You must observe the following points:
u The vehicle manufacturer is responsible for the instal-
lation and for compliance with the legal requirements.
u Installation in the bracket and removal from the bra-
cket must only be carried out by trained professionals
whilst the vehicle is stationary.
u The installation location must be a rigid supporting
surface of suffi cient stability.
u No pressure must be exerted on the monitor's frame
or display panel.
u For technical reasons, pixel errors are permissible in
accordance with the defi nition contained in the specifi-
cations
