Mounting

The camera can be mounted to a camera stand, to a
pan/tilt head (e. g. MONACOR VPT-50) or to a cam-
era support (e. g. support of the MONACOR TVH-
series). For fixing, the camera is provided with a
thread jack (13) [thread 6.3 mm (
upper and lower sides.

Connection

1) Connect the BNC jack VIDEO OUT (6) via a 75 Ω
cable (e. g. MONACOR VEC-62/10) to the video
input of the following unit (e. g. monitor, camera
switcher, video splitter). Observe the correct 75 Ω
termination on the monitor or, in case of series
connection, on the last monitor. With a cable
length exceeding 100 m, a video amplifier should
be inserted between the camera and the cable to
compensate cable losses.
If the following unit is provided with an
S-video input, this input can be connected to the
output S-VHS (7) via an S-video cable or S-VHS
cable (e. g. MONACOR SVHS-544). Due to a
separate transmission of brightness and colour
information, the picture quality is enhanced.

8.1 The main menu

The camera can be adapted to the requirements of
the user in many ways. All adjustments are made by
means of the keys (1 – 5) and the OSD menu. For
calling the OSD menu, press the middle key

into focus by turning the threaded ring (14). Then
retighten the screw.
