The high-resolution cameras TVCCD-700 and
TVCCD-700COL have been designed for applica-
tions in video surveillance systems. They distinguish
themselves by a very high light sensitivity and a high
dynamic range and offer the following features:
- convenient camera adjustment via OSD menu
- insertion of a camera title of up to 12 characters
at any desired position in the picture
- backlight compensation with adjusting of pre-
ferred picture sections (48 zones)
- digital zoom (in 32 steps up to double zoom
max.)
- white balance selection: manual, semi-automat-
ic, or continuous control (TVCCD-700COL only)
- mirror effect to be individually selected for both
axes
- negative display
- masking feature of four picture sections which
are not to be monitored
- automatic gain control (AGC)
- function for suppressing smearing effects in case
of very bright light spots (peak lights)
- electronic shutter
- iris control

Lens

Both a lens with DC controlled iris and a lens with
manual iris control can be used.
Attention! Protect the CCD image sensor chip
and the lenses of the lens assembly
against dust and other impurities;
never touch them with your fingers.
1) Remove the lens cover (15).
2) When using a C-mount lens, screw the supplied
C-mount adapter ring (12) on the threaded ring
(14) first, then screw on the lens. When using a
CS-mount lens, remove the adapter ring (12), then
screw the lens directly on the threaded ring (14).
When using a lens with DC controlled iris (for DC
controlled auto iris type), connect it to the camera
via the jack AUTO IRIS (10). The jack has the fol-
lowing pin configuration (see fig. 3):
