7 Maintenance and fault rectification

7.1 Maintenance

When used as directed in normal operation, LEVEL SWITCH
8110 is completely maintenance free.

7.2 Remove interferences

LEVEL SWITCH 8110 offers maximum reliability. Neverthe-
less, faults can occur during operation. These may be caused
by the following, e.g.:

Process

Supply
l
Signal processing
l
The first measure to be taken is to check the output signal. In
many cases, the causes can be determined this way and the
faults rectified.
