- Für kurze Teile, bauen ein spezifisches Schiebeholz um
eine grössere und sichere Arbeitfläche zu bekommen. (36)
2. Abrichten einer Kante (37)
- Stellen Sie die Brettkante auf den Eingangstisch (A).
- Drücken Sie die gehobelte Brettoberfläche fest gegen den
Winkelanschlag (C).
- Stellen Sie den Hobelwellenschutz (G) ein. (siehe «Einstel-
len des Hobelwellenschutzes»).
- Schieben Sie das Brett mit einer duchgehenden Bewe-
gung gegen die Hobelwelle, um Ungleichmäßigkeiten zu
vermeiden.
- Üben Sie an den Kontatktpunkten mit dem Tisch einen
Druck aus und drücken Sie mit der linken Hand den gehobel-
ten Anfang des Brettes auf den Ausgangstisch (B). Die rechte
Hand dient nur zum Schieben des Brettes.
- Wiederholen Sie den Arbeitsgang (A) bis eine saubere
gehobelte Oberfläche (G) entstanden ist.
- Verwenden Sie einen Rollbock (Zubehör: Nr 20 2100 001),
um lange Werkstücke zu hobeln. (38)

PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO OPERATION
h. Short pieces planing
- For short pieces, make yourself a specifical push stick, in
order to create a large pressure surface and secure yourself.

2. Planing of the edge (37)
- Set the board edge onto the entry table (A).
- Clamp the planed board surface firmly against the angle
guide (C).
- Adjust the cutter block guard (G) (see «Setting the cutter
block guard»)
- With a continuous movement push the board against the
cutter block, in order to avoid iregularities.
- Exerce a pressure where the board touches the table.
With your left hand, press the planed start of the board on to
the output table (B). The right hand only serves for pushing
the board.
- Repeat the procedure until a cleanly planed surface is
obtained.
- At the end of the passage, the board can be returned to the
entry table (A) by letting it slide over the cutter block guard
(G).
- Use a roller stand (optional: Number 20 2100 001) for
planing long work pieces. (38)
