• Never use the Recover mode for 6-volt batteries! As a
faultless 6-volt battery can also be detected as a deeply
discharged 12-volt battery, the 12-V Recover mode can
be inadvertently set. These batteries are overcharged with
the high charging voltage and damaged.
• Never use the Recover mode for 12.8-volt 4-cell LiFePO
batteries! These batteries are overcharged with the high
charging voltage and damaged.
Depending on the degree of ageing and chemical degradation,
this charging programme CAN regenerate a deeply discharged
lead-acid battery to a certain extent.
• Press and hold the MODE selection button (1) as described
in Point 6.4, to select the Recover 12 V charging programme.
• If the battery is too damaged and cannot be recovered (no
increase in voltage to 12 V within 3 hours), the fault symbol (F)
flashes and the charger ends the Recover programme (Standby).
• Promptly obtain a replacement battery from a specialist retailer.
