4. TAKING INTO OPERATION
Prior to mounting we recommend a trial so that the optimum mounting place for the antennas can be
determined (see step 4 to 6).
1. Afterwards mount the mounting brackets (4) at a minimum distance of 50 to 100 cm to a suitable place
(e.g. to a rack).
2. Screw the antenna boosters via their thread with the mounting screw (5) to the brackets (4).
3. Alternatively the antenna boosters can be directly mounted to a stand via their 1.5 cm (5/8") thread.
4. Connect the antennas of the receiver DR-1000 to the jacks ANT (3) and place them vertically
upwards.
5. Connect the jacks OUTPUT via a coaxial cable each with BNC plugs (optional accessory) to the antenna
inputs of the receiver or the antenna distributor UA-1000.
6. Switch on the receiver or the antenna distributor. With correct connection, the power indicator (1) lights
up.
