Getting started

4.1

Connect the display to the camera unit

To connect the display unit to the camera unit, connect the plug of
the display unit to the connector at the side of the camera unit.
There are markings on both the plug and the connector. Next, turn
the screw coupling clockwise to fasten the display unit.
4.2

Insert the SD card

Insert the SD card into the slot, with its face up. Push it in until it
clicks into space.
When you turn on the LCD, an

shown in the lower right corner of the display. If there is no SD card
inserted, the icon does not appear and you cannot take any
pictures or videos.

The SD card must be inserted before turning on the device. Otherwise, no picture
or video can be taken.

The number of photos and videos you can take depends on the SD card's
capacity and the video recording time. You can adjust the recording time in the
settings (see chapter 6.3). If a "Disk Full" indication appears on the display when
taking a picture or video, this means that the memory is full and files cannot be
saved anymore.
4.3

Turn the device on/off

To turn on the device, use the On/Off switch on top of the display unit.
After use, turn off the device. Unplug the AV cable and the USB cable, if connected. Remove the SD card
and close the SD card slot with the protective rubber cover.
4.4

Charge the battery

To charge the built-in battery of the display unit, use the provided mains adaptor (5.0 VDC / 2.0 A).
