5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

1. The color ring at the lower end of the microphone can be taken off and exchanged against one of the
rings supplied.
2. For operation, the microphone two 1.5 V AA batteries. Unscrew the battery at the lower end of the
microphone and insert the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Replace the cover.
3. The capacity of the batteries is indicated on the display:
With new batteries, the microphone can be operated for approx. 8 hours. If the battery icon on the
display starts flashing the batteries are going flat and the transmitter switches off automatically within a
short time.
4. If the microphone is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to
prevent damage in case of battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety
Instructions.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.

6. OPERATION

1. Set the power switch to POWER, to switch on the microphone. The display indicates the preset
transmission frequency and the battery icon for the battery capacity.
2. Adjust the transmission frequency for the microphone ( section 6.1).
3. Set the receiver to the same radio frequency.
4. Speak into the microphone. The volume level can be adjusted by changing the sensitivity ( section 6.1).
5. The microphone can be locked to prevent accidental change of frequency and accidental shutdown
( section 6.1).
6. To mute the microphone during operation, set the mute switch to MUTE. Then no sound will be
transmitted.
7. After operation set the power switch to OFF to switch off the microphone. The display shortly indicates
and extinguishes.

6.1 Adjustments in the setup menu

For calling the setup menu keep the button SET pressed until the display indicates the first menu item
. By pressing the button repeatedly you can select the desired menu item or cancel the setting
respectively:

6.1.1 Adjusting the transmission frequency

1. Use the button SET to call the first menu item
2. Use the buttons O and V to adjust the frequency: Each actuation of the button O increases the frequency
by 125 kHz, each actuation of the button V decreases the frequency by 125 kHz.
3. Press the button SET to store the frequency.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.

Please dispose of discharged batteries properly.
