5 Installation of the circulating pump
For the maximum efficiency and reliability, the heater should be
equipped preferably with Spheros circulating pumps Aquavent 5000,
Aquavent 5000S, Aquavent 6000C or Aquavent 6000SC.
These circulating pumps are installed according to the Figures 6, 9, 12
or 15. Consider the installation position!
The pump ports and the connected water inlet and outlet lines must be
flush each other to prevent any stress.
ATTENTION!
– Before using circulating pumps of other manufacturers check
their suitability.
– If circulating pumps are used which are not specified in this In-
stallation Instruction, make sure their permanent current con-
sumption not exceeds 8,75A.
– If the circulating pump output at the control device is not used,
it is to be closed with a blind plug Ident. No. 11113969_ (order
separately) to protect the control device against ingress of mo-
isture. Otherwise all warranty claims will expire.
– Any foreign power supply of the circulating pumps connected
with the control device is not permitted and will lead to the
expiration of any warranty claims.
– in case of external control of the circulating pump its operation
is to be ensured during the whole heater operation (initial cycle,
heating, purge cycle). Circulating pump operation in parallel to
the main switch signal is not allowed.
