Take out the cover of ice maker (1), lift forcibly with both hands, and
then pull it out. Take out the ice storage box (2), lift forcibly with both
hands, and then pull it out. Clean, dry and then install.
When installing the cover of ice maker, align the bottom with the
rails at both sides, put into the rails, and then push. When installing
the ice storage box, align the bottom with the rails at both sides, put
into the rails, and then push.
Turn the ice maker off
If the ice maker function is not needed for a long
time, please turn off the ice maker temporarily;
Hint: This only disables the ice making function; the
remaining ice in the ice storage box can be taken
still, and water system operates normally. The ice
maker is located at the back of ice maker cover;
just press it to turn off the ice maker. After the ice
maker is turned off, the ice/water icon on the
control panel is displayed still, and "IWD" button
is enabled, not affecting ice/water discharge.
NOTE: Before turning off the ice maker, you must disconnect the water system of
refrigerator several hours in advance; after turning off the ice maker, empty and clean
the ice storage box, and then put it back. When the ice maker function is enabled, if
there is ice in the ice storage box still, ice may fall during self-check of the refrigerator.
