Call up an automatic program on the master unit
( chapter 7.1). On the slave units, select the type
of slave mode as follows:
1) Press the button MENU to call up the setting
menu.
2) Use the button or
Slave Mode
and press the button ENTER to
call up this menu item.
3) Use the button or
Slave 1 movements are the same as those of
the master unit
Slave 2 movements are opposite to those of
the master unit
4) Press the button ENTER.
5) To exit the menu, keep the button MENU
pressed for more than one second.
7.4 Remote control via LC-3
or LC-9RTX
1) Connect the remote control LC-3 to the jack
ONLY FOR REMOTE CONTROL (8) or connect
the wireless receiver of LC-9RTX to the jack
ONLY FOR WIRELESS RECEIVER (9).
2) There must be no DMX signal at the input DMX
IN (10).
3) To connect additional WASH-400LED units, use
the output DMX OUT (11). Thus, they will be
controlled together with the master unit via the
remote control (
4) To switch the light on or off, use the button
STAND BY on the control. At the same time, with
the light switched off, the moving head will go to
the vertical position and the LED of the button
STAND BY will light up as an indication.
5) Use the button MODE on the remote control to
select the operating mode:
1. If the LED of the button MODE fails to light up,
keep the button FUNCTION on the remote
to select the menu item

Each time the button is kept pressed again,
the next stroboscope function will be acti-

phone has been switched on, there will also
be movements in sync with the music.

of four programs with different movements
and changing colours can be selected (

been switched on (

3. If the LED of the button MODE keeps flash-
ings slowly, a program with automatic colour
transitions and slow movements will start.
When the microphone has been switched on
( chapter 7.2), there will also be move-
ments in sync with the music: To define the
speed of the transitions [
Speed 3 (slow)], press the button FUNC-
TION.
4. If the LED of the button MODE keeps flashing
fast, the following functions can be adjusted
manually:
Pan Position
–
– Tilt Position
– Dimmer
Press the button FUNCTION briefly to go
from one function to the next one. Keep the
button pressed to change the corresponding
setting.

DMX Control

DMX is short for digital multiplex and allows for dig-
ital control of multiple DMX units via a common con-
trol cable. For operation via a DMX light controller
(e. g. DMX-1440 or DMX-510USB from "img Stage
Line"), the LED spotlight is equipped with 28 DMX
control channels. If not all control options are
required or if the controller does not provide 28 con-
trol channels, the WASH-400LED may be switched
to 1, 9, 12, 14 or 16 DMX control channels. The
functions of the channels and the corresponding
DMX values can be found in chapter 10.1.
