Danger of flooding! Always fix the drainage
hose safely, to prevent its detachment
when pumping out the water.

The drainage hose should be connected at
a height not exceeding 80 cm.

Make sure that no one may step on the
water drainage hose with their feet, and
that the hose will not get jammed between
water drain and appliance.
1.4 Adjusting the appliance feet
• To ensure a smooth, low-noise, and vibration-free
operation, the appliance must be in an absolute even
and balanced position. You may balance the app-
liance by means of adjusting the feet accordingly.
• Rotate the feet and adjust them in such a way that
the tumble dryer will stand in an absolutely even and
stable position.

Never unscrew the feet fully out of their
holdings.

1.5 Connecting the appliance to the
electric mains
For specific instructions concerning the electric
connectionduring the installation, please refer to the
operating instructions, chapter 1.1.1 Electric safety.

1.6 Transporting the appliance

• Plug out the power cable before transporting the ap-
pliance.
• In its entirety, drain the water still remainingin the
appliance.
• Remove the hose connector, if the appliance is con-
nected through a direct water drain.
During transportation, always keep the
appliance upright. If transportation in

upright position might prove impossible,
tilt the appliance towards the right side
- from a viewpoint facing the front panel
of the appliance - and transport it in this
position.
