The Balance Knee OFM2 is a light monocentric knee joint with a stable aluminium frame construction and a brake.
Due to the unique construction, the OFM2 knee joint can be used both as a locking joint with manual release, and
as a freely mobile knee joint as the user's mobility progresses. The Balance Knee OFM2 is particularly suitable for
above-knee amputees with a high need for safety because the innovative brake mechanism increases the safety of
the knee and, e.g., compensates for reduced muscle activity. The dual function
lever enables the user to switch easily from a locked knee to a freely mobile knee with a brake and back again. The
Balance Knee OFM2 knee joint is suitable for users with low functional levels (mobility I-II) and a high to very high
need for safety and up to a maximum body weight of 125 kg.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The Balance Knee OFM2 is designed for patients with transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputation.

ADJUSTMENT
The Balance Knee OFM2 is supplied by the factory in the basic setting. Start carefully with the joint's brake function
with the user at the dynamic gait tests and check whether this basic setting matches your user's needs. If not,
please proceed as follows:

Adjustment using the load regulating screw L (20)
The load regulating screw L (20) is used to adjust the point at which the brake acts when (weight-)loading starts.
Use the load regulating screw L (20) to adjust the response of the brake at the dynamic fitting appointment. Use a
4 mm Allen key.
