5.1. BEFORE USE: CONNECTION OF POWER SUPPLY AND USING THE
BATTERIES
Parent unit:
The parent unit of this baby monitor is designed to be powered by either
batteries or the provided AC/DC adaptors. Rechargeable batteries must be
charged for at least 16 hours before first use or if it has been out of use for
a long time.
Your Baby Monitor is supplied with 2 x AAA 1.2V 450mAh Ni-MH rechargeable
batteries for the parent unit. We recommend the use of the batteries in the
parent unit to be able to listen to the baby unit from any location. Reconnect the
parent unit to the adaptor whenever possible to keep the battery charged up.
Main steps:
- Then remove the battery cover on the back of the parent unit by applying
pressure and sliding it down.
Insert the rechargeable batteries as marked on the unit and close the cover
again.
- Place the parent unit in the charger pod.
