3.3.1 Use by patient
The nursing bed is delivered with a handset to
operate the movable parts.
•
To operate the bed, press and hold the arrow
(UP / DOWN) of one of buttons (a – c).
•
To stop the movement, release the button.
Operating items:
(a) Head-section angle (UP / DOWN)
(b) Mattress support (UP / DOWN)
(c) Knee bend (UP / DOWN) (optional)
(d) Button lock (rotatable switch)
(e) Lock key for button lock (d)
3.3.2 Locking function
The lock key may ONLY be used by authorised medical personnel.
To prevent that the patient undergoes unintentional movements, the buttons of the handset
can be locked by button lock (d), which is a rotatable switch.
To lock/unlock:
•
Use the special key delivered with the bed and turn
button lock (d)
•
clockwise to lock or
•
counter clockwise to unlock.
Indicator (f) in the middle of the key turns
•
green when the button is unlocked;
•
yellow when the button is locked.
Using the handset
Risk of damage
The user does not need any skills, training or knowledge to operate the bed safely.
The bed parts move slow to prevent any entrapment of limbs.
Maybe some of next buttons do not respond when you press it. This is since they
are blocked for use, by nurse or caregiver according to your medical condition.
