• Only use running water to fill tank (17) without exceeding the maximum
level indicator MAX (19).
• Never add detergents, chemical additives or water softeners.
SUGGESTION: If water in your area is very calcareous, it is
advisable to use distilled water.
• Fit tank (17) again into the appliance being careful to firmly secure
it to the boiler shell (1).
STARTING UP
FOR STEAM IRONING
• Rest the appliance on a firm flat surface.
• Place the iron on base (2) of boiler shell (1).
• Fill up the water tank (17) as described in the previous paragraph.
• Completely unwind the power cord (7)
and plug into the outlet.
• To switch on the appliance, press the
push button (4) and hold it pressed until
a short beep is heard. The display will
look like as shown aside:
• The standby indicator (d) will flash to show that the boiler is heating:
ONLY WHEN THIS SYMBOL DISAPPEARS FROM THE DISPLAY,
THE APPLIANCE IS READY FOR STEAM IRONING. OTHERWISE, IF
YOU PRESS THE STEAM BUTTON (15) BEFORE THE STANDBY
INDICATOR DISAPPEARS, NO STEAM WILL BE EMITTED.
• The steam level indicator (b) is set to the maximum level.
• Turn the iron temperature control knob (14) to the steam ironing
position.
• The pilot light (11) on the iron will go on immediately and will go out
a few minutes later, when the required temperature is reached.
• During operation, the iron light (11) goes on and then automatically
goes out indicating that the iron temperature is constantly under
control.
