Working safely with this machine is
possible only when the operating and
safety information are read completely
and the instructions contained therein
are strictly followed.
Wear safety goggles.
Wear protective goggles, ear protec-
tion.
Wear protective gloves.
Dangers that can happen when a compressed air line
is mounted to the tool:
Each time before putting into operation, check the
machine, connection and compressed air hose for
damage.
Only mount the compressed air when the tool is
switched off. Cut the compressed air connection
when changing the tool, during maintenance and
after use.
Never direct the compressed air towards yourself or
other people. Whipping hoses can cause serious
injuries. Always make sure that hoses and connect-
ing pieces are not loose or damaged.
Dangers during operation:
Never mount other grinding tools at the place of the
grinding disc. This tool does not have the appropri-
ate protections to this effect. The use of not admissi-
ble grinding tools can cause serious injuries or
death.
Only use grinding discs that are admitted for the
speed of this tool. Observe the dimensions of the
grinding discs.
Check the grinding disc prior to every use. Do not
use the tool if it has cracks or is otherwise damaged.
Do not touch the grinding disc during operation.

Dangers at the working zone
Take into account environmental influences. Provide
for good lighting. Keep your working zone tidy. Pro-
tect the hose from bends, contractions, heat and
sharp edges. Ensure a secure stand.
Repetitive work movements, unfavourable positions
and vibrations can damage your hands and arms.
Interrupt your work if you feel numbness or pain in
your arms/hands, if you feel tingly or if your skin
turns pale. Consult a doctor if the problems continue
to persist.
This compressed-air tool may not be operated in
rooms with danger of explosion.
This compressed-air tool is not insulated against the
contact with electric sources.
Dust from materials such as coatings that contain
lead, some types of wood, minerals and metal can
be harmful to your health. Touching or inhaling this
dust can cause allergic reactions and/or respiratory
diseases for the operator and anyone who happens
to be in the vicinity.
Certain dusts like oak or beech dust are considered
carcinogenic, especially in relation with additives for
treating wood (chromate, wood preservatives).
Material containing asbestos may only be treated by
specialists.
– If possible, provide for a dust collection.
– Provide for good ventilation of the working zone.
– It is recommended to wear a respirator mask of the
valid filtre class P2.
Respect the regulations of your country in respect to
the materials to be treated.
Keep tools and accessories that are not used at a dry
place which is not accessible for children.
Use only original Würth parts and accessories.
