 WHAT KIND OF WATER IS NOT SUITABLE?:

Water with Additives

Under no circumstances may starches, fabric softeners, perfume and glazes be
added, residues will build up in the steam chamber, which could damage the
appliance and dirty your laundry.
o
Mineral Water

The carbonic acids in mineral water provoke decomposition in the special
steam chamber.
o
Rain or Pond Water

The so-called biofouling contaminates the water, which in turn obstructs the
water flow.
o
Condensation Water Originating in the Refrigerator or Dryer

This type of water can contain foreign bodies. The water flow will also be
impeded.

Battery Water

Battery water available at gas and petrol stations is not to be recommended, as
even the slightest acid concentration will damage the iron.


Water softening systems extract calcium from water, but add other substances
