INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR IS-
LAND HOODS WITH INTERNAL SUPPORT
FRAME AND EXTENSION SUPPORT
Phase 1
a) Identify the desired height (H1=65) of the hood (Fig.1).
b) Slide the internal support frames (C) and (C1) till the desired height (H2), then
lock them with 8 self-tapping screws (V2).
c) Fit the internal support frame (C) and the flange (SP) to the ceiling with 8 screw
anchors Ø 8 and screws (V1) (Fig.1.1).
d) If there is a false ceiling the flange (SP) can be fitted at the level of the false
ceiling (Fig.1.2).
Phase 2
a) Fit the extension into the hood. Secure them with paper tape (Fig. 2).
b) Secure the chimney-extension (D+E) to the flange (SP) with 4 M4 metric screws
(V3) without tightening them (Fig. 2).
c) If the hood is of extraction type: identify the desired height of the exhaust pipe/
hose (F) and connect it to the motor connection.
Phase 3
a-b) Lift the hood and hook it onto the 4 M5 metric screws (V4) pre-screwed to the
internal support frame (C) (centre the Ø11 holes with the slot of the reinforce-
ment frame and move the frame sideways).
c) Tighten the 4 M5 screws (V4).
d-e-f) Remove the paper tape, undo the 4 M4 metric screws (V3) previously
screwed onto the flange (SP) and slide the chimney-extension down.
g) Connect the pipe/hose to the exhaust hole on the ceiling (it the hood is of ex-
traction type).
Connect the electrical system after having disconnected the power supply.
h) Fit the extension to the flange (SP) with 4 M4 metric screws (V3) without tight-
ening them.
Tighten the 4 M4 metric screws (V3) to secure the extension to the flange (SP)
definitively.
i) Lock the chimney in place with 2 self-tapping screws (V5).
