Transferring external calls internally

Holding a call / Brokering
While an external call is in progress, it is possible to dial another handset in order to con-
sult with someone. The external caller is put on hold while you converse with the second,
internal person called. You can switch between the two callers as often as necessary.

Conference calls
An external call can be transferred to another internal handset for a conference call.

Setting the receiver volume
The volume can be adjusted to one of 5 levels during a call.

Displaying the duration of a call
The duration of a call is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds during a call and for a
short period after it has been ended.
Handsfree mode
Use this function to be able to listen to the caller through the loudspeaker.

Muting the microphone in the handset
The microphone in the handset can be activated and deactivated during a telephone con-
versation.

If the handset called does not answer, take the external call back by pressing the
I button.
