• Check cable, and extension cable if used, regularly.
•
Do not rivet or screw any additional plates or signs to
the tool, as this could bridge the protective insulation
and render it ineffective. We recommend the use of
adhesive labels.
2. Starting up
The relevant German industrial insurers' accident prevention
regulations or their equivalents must be complied with when
starting up, using and servicing the die grinder.
Make sure that the wheel guard and the mounted grinding
wheel are properly fastened before starting the die grinder.
Only use grinding wheels with the approved specifications and
do not exceed the grinding wheel dimensions stipulated (EN 68).
Do not exceed the grinding wheel dimensions stipulated in the
table on page 2.
Plug in the die grinder only at standstill of the motor.
Motor protective plug
The die grinder is equipped with a motor protective plug. When
the prug is released, the grinder can be switched on again after
20-30 seconds.
The mains switch must be in the "OFF" position before
connecting the grinder again.
Clamping the tools
Attention! Always remove the plug from the power
socket before changing an abrasive or tool.
a. Clamping grinding wheels
Clamp wheel arbor 6 38 03 058 011 in drill chuck (52)
(see fig.). Fit grinding wheel (A) to the wheel arbor, fit disc
(B). Screw on hexagon nut (C) and tighten, retaining the
drill chuck (52) by nneans of the spanner for drill chucks.
Remove the spanner.
3. Correct usage
To be used in accordance with the relevant legislation on
technical tools (e.g. the German Technical Equipment Safety
Act or similar). The power tools which we seil comply with
statutory regulations for user safety.
The die grinder is designed for grinding with grinding
wheels (EN 68), for brushing, polishing and drilling.
Always wear safety glasses, gloves and an ear protection
when working with the die grinder.
When working, hold the die grinder in such a way that the
sparks it produces cannot cause damage or injury, that is to say
do not direct them at flammable objects or people in the near
vicinity.
Only use approved tools.
