Cleaning the appliance
• Wipe the appliance housing
regularly with a damp cloth.
• Remove the filter basket (1)
and the jug (10) and clean
them both with washing-up
water. Then dry the parts care-
fully.

How often you need to descale
the appliance will depend on your
water hardness. More or less
scale will form depending on how
hard your water is.
Regular descaling will

– shorten brewing times;
– save energy.
