• Put the cap back on and plug in the appliance.
• Press switch (21). The warning light on the switch show that the board, the
unit and iron are all on.
• To avoid condensate being produced on the board, wait for at least 10
minutes before you start to iron.
• Use both suction and blowing when steam ironing.
• If you wish to use the suction function, set the selector switch (20) to position
(I) and press the steam for plate button (5). The fan will start automatically
and it will stop after 10 seconds from the release of the button.
• If you wish to use the blowing function, set the selector switch (20) to position
(II) and press the steam for plate button (5). The fan will start automatically
and it will stop after 10 seconds from the release of the button.

• Select the desired temperature by setting the thermostat knob (3). When the
warning light (2) turns off the desired temperature has been reached (during
operation the light will turn on and off continuously; this is perfectly normal).
The coloured section on the thermostat shows the range of use of steam.
• It takes about 3 minutes for the unit to reach the ideal ironing pressure.
• When the steam light (19) turns on the appliance is ready for use. When the
light turns off, this again is perfectly normal. The light will keep on turning on
and off without affecting ironing results.
• When using the iron for the first time, pass it a few times on a piece of cloth.
• For steam press the steam button (5). If you wish for continuous steam
emission, keep the button pressed and slide the steam guide backwards (4).
To block steam emission, release the steam button.
• To ensure always perfect ironing conditions, it is advisable to press the steam
button intermittently so that the iron will produce an ideal level of steam but
also have time to dry the ironed fabric.
• This appliance can generate steam even in a vertical position so that fabrics
can be refreshed with steam.
• If you will to adjust steam output instantly while ironing, turn the steam
regulation knob (17). By turning the knob rightwards the amount of steam
will increase, while turning it leftwards it will be reduced.
• If the „no water" light (18) turns on, usually together with a stronger and
constant buzzing from the unit, this means that it needs to be refilled with
water. Ironing without water can damage the steam production device.
PROCEDURE 1 appliance switched off and plug removed from socket.
- Unscrew the cap (22) and pour approximately 0.9 litres of water into
the tank.

- Unscrew the cap (22) and pour approximately 0.9 litres of water into
the tank.
When filling by PROCEDURE 2, after having inserted the tank once
more into its seat, press the RESET button to activate the boiler
recharging system and to turn the tank light off. When filling by
PROCEDURE 1, boiler charging and turning off of the light is automatic
(appliance switched off). While ironing, the control unit may emit a
sound. This is absolutely normal. It is the noise of the pump loading
the water.
