CAUTION: continuing to iron with the maintenance light on (fixed light) could
damage the system. Clean the boiler as soon as possible!
The maintenance program for your appliance envisages 2 different levels of work:
AUTOMATIC
The maintenance light comes on according to an average time of use of your appliance
and a standard degree of hardness of the water set by the Manufacturer. The user
should not carry out any adjustments.
CUSTOMISED
The user may adjust the sensitivity of the appliance according to the hardness of
the water, which can be checked with the relative measuring test stick provided (see
section WATER HARDNESS). After having checked the degree of hardness of the
water, to select the CUSTOMISED MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME, proceed as follows:
CUSTOMISED MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME APPLIANCE RESET
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
With the reset button pressed, put the general switch to on.
The following indicator lights start to blink simultaneously:
-
No water
-
Maintenance
-
Steam reset
Release the reset button (27) and press it again within a 5 seconds.
It is now possible to proceed with memorising the hardness of the water.
MEMORISATION OF WATER HARDNESS
VERY SOFT/SOFT (degree 1)
Keep the reset button pressed until you hear the beep indicating successful
memorisation.
Release the reset button (27) and wait for the display to return to its initial state
with the boiler light on.
The appliance is now ready for use with the MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME that
has just been set (also see par. USING THE APPLIANCE).
SEMI-HARD (degree 2)
Keep the reset button (27) pressed until you hear the beep and the steam ready
lights come on.
Release the reset button and wait for the display to return to its initial state with
the boiler light on.
The appliance is now ready for use with the MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME that
has just been set (also see par. USING THE APPLIANCE).
HARD (degree 3)
Keep the reset button (27) pressed until you hear the beep and the steam ready
and maintenance lights come on.
Release the reset button and wait for the display to return to its initial state with
the boiler light on.
