SAFETY WARNINGS

• Before turning the iron ON make sure that the voltage of the mains
corresponds to the one indicated on the plate of the iron. The iron is to be
connected only to a socket which is adequately grounded and complies with
the rating label specifications.
• In case of incompatibility between the plug on the iron and the socket have
an adequate plug installed by qualified personnel.
• The electrical safety of this appliance is ensured only if the electrical installation
is adequately grounded in keeping with the norms in force. The Manufacturer
declines all responsibility for injuries caused by the lack of grounding of the
installation. Incase of doubt contact qualified personnel.
• Do not leave any water in the iron if the ambient temperature is 5°C or lower.
After having removed the packing make sure that the iron is not damaged. In
case of doubt do not use the iron and contact qualified personnel.
• The use of adapters, multiple jacks and/or extensions is not recommended.
If their use is absolutely necessary use only simple adaptors or multiple jacks
which are in conformity with the safety norms in force. Make sure that the
power limit stated on the adapter is not exceeded.
• Do not leave the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene etc.) with in the reach of
children since they could be dangerous.
• This iron is solely for domestic use. Any other use is considered "improper"
and therefore dangerous.
• The Manufacturer declines all responsibility for damages stemming from
improper and/or unreasonable use and/or from repairs carried out by
unqualified personnel.
• Do not touch the iron with wet or humid hands or feet.
• Never use the iron in the bathroom.
• Do not the cord to remove the plug from the socket.
• Do not leave the iron exposed to the atmospheric agents (rain, sun, cold etc.).
• Do not allow children or incompetent people to use the iron.
• Do not place the iron in water.
• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning doing maintenance or filling
up on the iron.
• In case of a failure or malfunctioning turn the iron OFF. Do not tamper
with it. For repairs contact only the After-Sales Services authorised by the
Manufacturer. Only original spare parts are to be used. The non-observance
of the aforementioned point can cause safety problems.
• When the iron is to be definitely disposed of, remove the plug from the socket.
Cut off the power cable so that it cannot be used.
• The power cable of the iron must not be replaced by the user himself since
special tools are required. If the power cable is damaged contact an After-
Sales Service Center authorised by the Manufacturer.
• The jet of steam must not be directed towards people or animals as it is very
dangerous.
• During warm-up/cool-down session of the boiler, you might hear noises due
to a normal dilatation of the metal material of which this is composed.
• Never place the iron under the water tap to fill it with water.
• Never allow the power cable to come into contact with the soleplate when it
is hot.
