• If the safety demand limiter intervenes, the iron stops working. To resume
ironing the iron must be examined by qualified personnel.
• Do not use the iron on fabrics which are too wet.
• Do not fill the tank too much with water. Do not mix the water with stain
removers or similar substances.
• The boiler drainage cap (15) must not be opened when the appliance is under
pressure (danger of burns/scalds). Wait at least 12 hours until the Products
cooled down.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
• Remove the plug from the socket and turn OFF the main switch when the iron
is not being used. Never leave the iron plugged into the socket when it is not
being used. The control unit must not be moved during normal use.
• The appliance shall not be used if the system has been dropped at any time,
with visible signs of damage (control unit or iron). The ironing system shall
be sent to the manufacturer or his qualified service agent before further use.
• The ironong system must not be used if there are visible damage or if it is
leaking. Apply to an autorised service center before further use.
• If steam should come out from the bottom of the control unit, due to the
operation of the pressure relief safety valve placed internally at the ironing
system, apply to an authorised Service Centre and check that the appliance
is in perfect order, even if it keeps on working regularly.
• Take good care of this instructions manual.
• This appliance is in conformity with Directive 55014 EEC EN concerning the
elimination of atmospheric disturbances.
• Do not use the product with barefoot.
• Do not use the product without a suitable extension within bathrooms and
showers.
• Do not leave the product unattended when it is connected to the main with
the switches ON.
• Do not carry the products while in use.
• The perfect plane for the product, either during its use than for refilling,
should be flat, heat resistant and horizontal. It is very important that all 4 feet
of the product lean perfectly on the plane surface.
• If the electrical cable has got damages, please address to an authorized after
sales service for the replacement.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Before avoiding the accidental opening of the legs, proceeds as follows:
1. Release the safety catch (9) ONLY once the ironing board has been
placed on the floor.
2. Before moving the board, make sure that the safety catch has been
fastened.
TRANSPORT
The ironing board has castors (12) to make movement from the working position
to the storage place easier. For this purpose raise the tip of the board ( as shown
in the drawing).
