7. Operating the vegetable grater

WARNING!
Sharp-edged parts. Never push food into the feed
tube with your hands, forks, spoon handles or similar
items. There is a risk of injury.
CAUTION!
Do not push food into the feed tube so hard that the motor
audibly runs slower. Otherwise the motor could overheat
and be damaged.
CAUTION!
Do not operate the appliance for longer than two minutes
per session to avoid overheating the motor. Allow the mo-
tor to cool down between operations.
The appliance is assembled and connected as described above.
 Place a container under the outlet.
 Precut the vegetables if necessary so that they fit in the feed
tube without jamming.
 Press and hold the on/off switch with one hand and use the
pusher to press the vegetables in carefully with the other
hand.
Ensure that the pusher fits inside the feed tube.
 After processing, let go of the on/off switch. The appliance is
switched off.
 Disconnect the mains plug.
 Clean the appliance immediately after use (see also "8. Cleaning the appliance").
Do not leave food to dry on the appliance.
