• Do not place containers fi lled with liquid, e.g. vases, on or near the
product, and protect all the parts from drips or splashes. Such containers
could tip over, and the liquid could impair the electrical safety of the
product.
• Do not place any objects on the cables as they may be damaged.
• Only use the device in residential rooms or similar rooms.

Electromagnetic compatibility

• Allow a distance of at least one metre from high frequencies and magne-
tic sources of interference (television sets, other loudspeakers, mobile or
cordless telephones, etc.) in order to avoid malfunctions.

Handling batteries

You can insert a CR 2032 button cell battery in the product for data backup
in the event of a power failure (station memory, date, time and alarm times).
Please note the following:
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. Risk of chemi-
cal burns if batteries are swallowed.
