PROBLEM
The coffee is not hot
enough.
No coffee is brewed.
The lever cannot be
lowered.
Indicator light C blinks
RED when:
- the machine is switched
on;
- preheating for steam
dispensing is in progress.
Warning light D is lit stead-
ily in RED.
Indicator light C blinks
GREEN rapidly for several
minutes.
Coffee is dispensed very
slowly, and is of poor
quality.
See the data plate on the
base of the machine.

Troubleshooting

POSSIBLE CAUSE
- Cold cups / espresso cups.
- Scale build-up in machine.
The water tank is empty.
- The used capsule drawer
is full.
- Capsule stuck inside the
machine.
The control lever is not in the
correct position.
Heating problems.
Machine overheating.
Button A was pressed with an
espresso capsule.

SOLUTION
- Preheat cup.
- Descale.
Fill the tank with fresh water (Fig. 4).
- Empty out the used capsule drawer
(Fig. 6).
- Remove the used capsule.
Set the lever back to its central position
(Fig. 20).
Turn off the machine, then turn it back
on (Fig. 14). If the problem persists,
take the machine to an Authorised
Service Centre.
Dispense hot water for a few seconds
(Fig. 21), until indicator light C remains
lit steadily.
Do not press button A.
