Starting a Firing
900
EndE
The following example demonstrates how to start a slow
biscuit firing by calling up program P2. After turning on
the PYROTEC PY1 the display (1) reads the actual kiln
temperature.
Press key (6) again and again until the indicator points to
P2 (as depicted on the left hand side).
Display (1) now reads the firing temperature of program
P2 (returns to kiln temperature after 15 seconds).
Press key (10) to start the firing. Display (1) reads the
actual kiln temperature during the entire firing. Every 20
seconds the firing temperature is shown flashing.
The flashing decimal point on the right hand side of
display (1) always indicates a running program.
The indicator in the firing curve (8) points to the current
program segment (example shows heating up in
segment (a) of the firing).
When the firing is completed successfully the PYROTEC
PY1 reads „EndE„ alternating with the actual kiln
temperature. Wait until the kiln has cooled down naturally
before opening.
