Tips

To enjoy an aromatic espresso, note the following tips:
Always preheat the cups on the hotplate (13).
Rinse out the cups with hot water immediately before using them.
Always fi ll the water tank (2) with fresh water. Do not use any water that has been in
the water tank for longer than 12 hours.
After it has heated up, fi rst allow hot water to run through the sieve insert (14) and the
portafi lter (8) before they are fi lled with espresso powder.
Experiment with the amount of espresso powder to suit your own personal taste. As
a guideline, you can reckon on 7 g of espresso powder for a normal cup of espresso.
