Battery Charging

Do not use AC and DC power at
the same time or the generator
may be damaged.
NOTE:
The generator DC rated voltage
is 12V.
1. Wind the battery charging
lead 2 or 3 turns around the
handle and plug into DC

NOTE:
9 Make connections to the
battery after starting the
engine.
9 Clamp the red wire to the
positive (+) terminal and the
black wire to the negative
(–) terminal of the battery.
Do not reverse these posi-
tions.

2. Start the engine.
3. Turn the DC switch (N.F.B.)
to "I" (ON) position (for
Canada), press in the DC
protector

the battery.

fonctionner le générateur sur
l'alimentation CA et CC, car
vous risqueriez de l'endomma-
ger.
N.B. :
La tension nominale du courant
continu du groupe électrogène est
de 12V.
1. Enroulez le câble de charge de
la batterie de 2 ou 3 tours
autour de la poignée et bran-
chez-le sur la prise CC.
N.B. :
9 Ne
branchez
qu'après avoir mis le moteur
en marche.
9 Fixez le fil rouge à la borne
positive (+) de la batterie et le
fil noir à la borne négative (–).
Ne faites jamais le contraire.

2. Mettez le moteur en marche.
3. Tournez le contacteur CC
(N.F.B.) sur la position "I"
(ON) (pour le Canada), enfon-
cez la protection CC (excepté
pour le Canada), puis installez
la batterie.
