STORAGE

Long term storage of your
machine will require some pre-
ventive procedures to guard
against deterioration.

DRAIN THE FUEL

1. Remove the fuel tank cap.
Drain the fuel from the fuel
tank into an approved gaso-
line container using a com-
mercially available
siphon. Then, install the fuel
tank cap.

9 Fuel is highly flammable
and poisonous.
"SAFETY INFORMATION"
(See page 9) carefully.
9 Wipe up any spilled fuel
immediately.
2. Drain fuel from the carbure-
tor by loosening the drain
screw 1 on the carburetor
float chamber.
3. Turn the fuel cock lever to
"OFF". Start the engine and
leave it run until it stops.
This will burn any remain-
ing fuel in the carburetor.

REMISAGE

Si vous remisez votre groupe élec-
trogène pendant une période pro-
longée, il faut prendre certaines
mesures préventives afin de le pro-
téger contre toute détérioration.

VIDEZ LE CARBURANT
1. Déposez le bouchon du réser-
voir à carburant. Vidangez le
carburant du réservoir à carbu-
rant dans un conteneur à carbu-
hand rant homologué au moyen d'un
siphon manuel acheté dans le
commerce. Installez ensuite le
bouchon du réservoir à carbu-
rant.

9 L'essence est un produit hau-
tement
toxique. Lisez attentivement
les « INFORMATIONS DE
SECURITE » à la page 9)
avant de faire le plein.
9 Essuyez immédiatement les
éventuelles coulures de car-
burant.
2. Videz le carburateur du carbu-
rant qu'il contient en desserrant
la vis de purge 1 sur la cuve à
niveau constant du carburateur.
3. Tournez le robinet de carburant
sur la
(« OFF »). Faites démarrer le
moteur et laissez-le tourner jus-
qu'à ce qu'il s'arrête.
Cela permet de brûler tout le
carburant qui reste dans le car-
burateur.
