7.1 RD 2006 Failure Messages

Consult the failure table below when the LED indicator (ERROR) on the programming cabinet is
flashing. Contact the installer if necessary.
Description
1x Motor does not obtain 24 V
voltage
2x Driving motor runs 1 second and
then stops
3x Only in case of programmed
control:
Motor runs reversed
4x Short-circuit in power cable.
Short-circuit in driving motor.
5x Maximum current (9.5 A) has been
higher than 9.5 A for more than 5
seconds uninterrupted
6x Maximum driving motor running
time is exceeded
7x Default braking capacity is
insufficient
8x Control electronics temperature
is too high. Control will be turned
on automatically once more after
cooling.
9x High Power temperature
Brake module is too high.
If the Open and Close LEDs (ERROR) are lighting, the Roldeck was disabled by the level control
(ELS 2006).

Cause (Solution)
• Motor is connected incorrectly.
• Power cable is interrupted.
• Driving motor is not running / driving motor is
blocked.
(Check whether the roller is jammed.)
(Check if the Roldeck got stuck in the recess.)
• Sensor is connected incorrectly.
(Check the connections.)
• Sensor cable is interrupted.
• Sensor is faulty.
• Motor is connected incorrectly.
(Check the rotation direction and change the polarity if
necessary)
• Motor runs too heavily.
• Motor is too light in relation to Roldeck dimensions
and fitting depth.
• Moisture in the electromotor.
Maximum Roldeck running time: 15 minutes.
• Motor runs too slow.
(Check the driving motor's rotational speed.)
• Motor slips across the drive shaft.
(Place the wedge or the drive bolt.)
Maximum bottom pit cover motor running time: 2
minutes.
• Motor slips across the drive shaft.
(Place the wedge or the drive bolt.)
• Upward slat force is too high.
(Place the High Power Brake Module - RDBS 2006.)
Control will be turned on automatically once more
after cooling.
