6.1 Mode of operation

The linear unit is used for linear processing and positioning. The slides are driven into their posi-
tions by a tapped spindle drive. This motion can be carried out manually with a handwheel or by
an electric drive.
The slides are guided on steel guide shafts with runners and are adjusted free of play via the guide
rails of the slide profile.

This linear unit is available in the versions and guidance versions given here.

After receiving this linear unit, check the device for possible damage and missing components.

Immediately notify RK Rose+Krieger GmbH of any faults found.
The linear unit is delivered ready for operation, but without a control system and without acces-
sories.
