Risks of injury
■
Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!
■
ATTENTION: Danger of scalding from hot steam! Keep your hands and head away
from the ventilation slots. Hot steam emerges from the ventilation slots!
■
ATTENTION: Danger of scalding from heat, hot steam or condensation! We recom-
mend using oven cloths or kitchen gloves if you want to remove food.
■
ATTENTION Risk of burn! If water comes into contact with hot fat, the fat may spray.
For this reason, make sure that no water or other liquids drip into the fat. Do not fi ll
the frying basket with any wet foods. When opening the lid and particularly when add-
ing frozen foods, maintain adequate distance to the device to prevent burns caused
by hot spraying fat.

Only remove the fat or oil once it has cooled off completely.
Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
■
The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safety
contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that
the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match
the technical data of the device. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical
data is the same as that of the device.
■
Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stovetops or ovens in order to
prevent damages to the device.
■
Never immerse the device, mains cable or plug in water or other liquids and ensure
that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■
Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at-
tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■
Never touch the device, mains cable or plug with wet hands when these components
are connected to the mains power.
■
Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs
during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the plug and never the mains cable.
■
Always fi rst turn off the device by setting the temperature control to the OFF position
before you insert the mains plug in the socket or pull the mains plug out of the socket.
■
Use the device only in closed rooms.
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and
explosive fumes.
Danger of fi re!

Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fi re.

In the event of a fi re: do not put the fi re out using water! Smother the fl ames with a
fi re blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.
