- there is visible evidence that the device has been damaged
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored for long periods under unfavourable conditions
or
- the device may have been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
Cleaning
Observe the safety instruction for this and pull the plug out of the
socket first!
The use of a dry, lint-free cloth is recommended to clean the housing. Detergents
must not be used! Make sure that no water penetrates the device!
Clean the pre-filter every 1 to 2 months with water and a mild detergent! Only repla-
ce it when it has dried completely.
The charcoal filter may not be washed, otherwise it may become damaged. Change
the charcoal filter once a month or when the filter display (16) lights up or when the
white surface has become black. In order to increase the service life while the device
is off, remove the charcoal filter and store it in a closed bag.
