Properties
This air cleaner is equipped with a filter system based on a washable pre-filter and a
combined hepa/active charcoal filter (order no. 840413). This filter system intercepts
approx. 99.965% of all pollutants in the air, e.g. smoke, bad smells, gases like carb-
on monoxide etc. and hazardous bacteria. This reduces the air pollution and signifi-
cantly improves the quality of the air in your home.
The negatively charged ions the device produces, merge with the dust particles and
bacteria in the air and absorb them.
The scent function gives your the possibility to add pleasant scents to your room air
with the corresponding oil essences or perfumes.
You can also carry out all functions with the enclosed remote control. Point the
remote control towards the air cleaner and press the corresponding buttons! The
remote control has a range of approx. 5 metres.

ION = Ioniser. This display lights up as long as the device produces ions.
The respective display blinks.
5. With the button (15), you can set or activate the respective operating status.
6. Push the following buttons when using the remote control:
(17) Power for turning the device on/off.
(18) Mode for setting manual or automatic mode.
(19) "L" low ventilator speed.
(20) "M" medium ventilator speed.
(21) "H" high ventilator speed.
(22) ANION to activate the ioniser.
(23) "2h" operating time 2 hours.
(24) "4h" operating time 4 hours.
(25) "8h" operating time 8 hours.
7. The filter display (16) lights up after approx. 8,000 operating hours. Press the reset
button (12) with a needle or bent open paper clip to perform a reset. The filter dis-
play (16) goes off again.
8. After approx. 24 hours of operation, the device has reached its optimum operating sta-
tus. As soon as the air pollution increases, the API display (9) lights up and the device
automatically activates the air cleaning function "L" > "M" or M" > "H".
Handling
Never operate the device with a damaged power cable or power plug, if it has fallen
down or shows any other damage. In this case, return the device to the place of
purchase.
Do not use the device in rooms or at adverse ambient environment conditions where
combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present.
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or components are
removed. Terminals may also be live. Before servicing or repair work is carried out or
components or assemblies replaced, the device must be disconnected from the
mains voltage. Servicing and repair on the device must only be carried out by a SPE-
CIALIST who is familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant regulations.
If you have reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, immediate-
ly take the device out of operation and secure it against inadvertent operation. It
