4.6.3 P
UMP REGULATION
Pay attention:
the machine's pump is tested with a special fluid. When using the machine for the first time, make sure
before starting work that the fluid delivered by the machine is electrolytic solution (more dense), and allow
any residue of the test fluid to run out of the machine first (1-2 minutes).
Pay attention: when the pump works in automatic position, if the user doesn't work for 20'' seconds the machine
automatically stops working; in this way, the electrolytic solution wastage is avoided.
 Manual setting "
": the electrolytic solution comes out only when the torch's ON button (18) is pressed repeatedly.
 Automatic setting: put the knob (13) in the positions after the one "Manual" in order to work with the pump in automatic
mode. Turn it clockwise to increase delivery and counter-clockwise to reduce it.
Note: Using the Big graphite insert (48) and the Big Bond pad (49), please turn the knob in automatic function
setting the pump from the second position until the last.

LEANING
POLISHING OPERATIONS
1. Check electric installation (Chapter 3) and connect the ground cable (19) to the workpiece.
2. Make sure to have connected the machine to the compressed air system (cap. 4.5).
3. Turn ON the machine pressing the power switch (7).
4. Press the torch's ON button (18) to provide steady voltage to the insert/brush (16/48/51).
5. The electrolytic solution comes out from the insert/brush (16/48/51) and wet the pad/brush (28/46/49/51); proceed now
with the weld cleaning/polishing operations (note that in the manual setting the electrolytic solution comes out from the
insert/brush -16/48/51- only when the torch's ON button -18- is pressed repeatedly).
6. Start cleaning/polishing by placing the pad/brush (28/46/49/51) soaked by electrolytic solution on the stainless steel to
work. Move the pad/brush (28/46/49/51) across the weld with a pressure until it is completely cleaned/polished.
(Pictures J7/J8).
The cleaning operation of the large surface are possible only with the Big graphite insert 45 mm (48) and the Big
Bond pad 45mm (49).
Pay attention:
polishing requires a greater quantity of electrolytic solution with respect to cleaning.
Pay attention: the pad/brush (28/46/49/51) must always be soaked by electrolytic solution otherwise its lifetime will
be reduced (replace the pad -28/46/49- whenever it shows remarkable burns or is notably broken).
Never use the torch insert (16/48) without the appropriate pad (28/46/49).
Pay Attention:
HOW USING THE BRUSH IN THE CORRECT WAY:
During the pickling, keep the brush in perpendicular position to the welding and
always wet of electrolytic solution.
4.6.5. A
FTER CLEANING
1. Put the torch (1) on its support (2).
2. Remove the clamp of the ground cable (19) from the workpiece.
VERY IMPORTANT (for optimal results)
3. Remove from workpiece the electrolyte in excess, otherwise it will appear after shortly the white marks due to fixate
these residues on the surface and will need to repeat processing to remove them.
4. Spray the solution Inox Fit (45) on the surface in order to neutralize any residual electrolyte. (Picture J9)
5. Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth dampened with clean water.
6. Wipe the surface with a dry microfiber cloth.
4.6.6. P
OWER DOWN
1. Put the power switch (7) on "O" position (OFF).
2. Unplug the machine power cable (6).
3. Supply a machine maintenance (chapter 7).
