4. OPERATIONS WITH BLOWING TORCH (1)
4.1. B
LOWING TORCH SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
1. Attach the two plastic supports (41) to the base (42) with four M6x20 screws using the 5mm allen key.
2. Attach the torch holder (43) to the base (42) with two screws M6x20 using the 5mm allen key.
3. Place the bowl (22) into the proper housing on the base (42).
4. Hook the complete support (2) to the machine.
4.2. B
RUSH AND INSERTS INSTALLATION
1. Unscrew the screw (15) situated on the torch (1) with the 2,5mm Allen key.
2. Install the insert/brush (16/48/51) on the torch (1) and fix the two screws. (Pictures J1/J2/J3).
Pay attention: under the insert (16/48) in correspondence of the hole from which comes out the electrolytic solution must
be positioned a small O-ring.
Pay attention: the brush (51) once installed it is ready to use, while on the inserts (16/48), before starts working, must be
installed the pads (28/46/49).
Pay attention: the machine is delivered with the Tungsten standard insert (16a) already installed on the torch (1).
NOTES:
 Correct use of the POWER BRUSH (51)
The POWER BRUSH use is ideal for reaching those difficoult areas to reach with
inserts and pads (for example, inner corners).
The fibers of the brush should protrude to the max of 15mm compared to the PTFE
spiral. When the first fibers are depleted cut the PTFE spiral shortening of 15mm.
 Graphite Insert Big 45mm (48)
The use of the graphite insert Big 45mm is ideal for cleaning wide surfaces.
4.3. P
ADS INSTALLATION
The pads are made of a special materials resistant to the acids and high temperatures.
Check the possible combinations in table F.

1. Fit the PTFE ring (47) into the pad mounting tool's base (21).
2. Lay the pad (46) over the PTFE ring (47).
3. Put the insert (16) of the torch (1) over the pad (46) at the centre of the PTFE ring (47) and push down so that the insert
(16) and the pad (46) both fit into the PTFE ring (47).
4. Remove the torch (1) from the pad mounting tool (21).

For the installation, put the pad (28) over the insert (16).

1. Put the Big bond pad 45mm (49) on the graphite insert Big 45mm (48) so that it will be all covered.
2. Fix the Big Bond pad 45mm (49) to the graphite insert Big 45mm (48) using the O-ring (50).
Pay attention: The Big Bond pad 45mm (49) must completely cover the insert Big 45mm (48), otherwise a short
circuit may occur due to contact between the graphite insert Big 45mm (48) uncovered and the piece to
be cleaned.
