NOTE
If you wish to prepare food which drips exces-
sively on the rack 0, then slide the baking
sheet 9 into the bottom rail. By doing this,
dripping fat for example will be caught and
the appliance is then easier to clean.
6) Close the glass door 7.
7) Once the food is cooked, set the function
switch 4 to "OFF". Open the glass door 7
carefully and remove the food.
Cooking using the large
hotplate
NOTE
You can use the large hotplate 1 at the same time
as the small hotplate 2. However, you cannot
use the large hotplate 1 at the same time as the
oven.
1) Place the fi lled saucepan on the large hot-
plate 1.
2) Set the function switch 4 to the required
heating level. The higher the heating level is,
the faster the hotplate is heated.
The indicator lamp 6 illuminates.
3) Once the food is cooked, set the function
switch 4 to "OFF" again.
Cooking using the small
hotplate
NOTE
You can use the small hotplate 2 at the same
time as the large hotplate 1 or at the same time
as the oven. However, you cannot use the small
and the large hotplate 1 at the same time as
the oven.
1) Place the fi lled saucepan on the small hot-
plate 2.

2) Set the "small hotplate" level switch 5 to the
required level. The higher the heating level is,
the faster the hotplate 2 is heated.
The indicator lamp 6 illuminates.
3) Once the food is cooked, set the "small hotplate"
level switch 5 to "0" again.

Cleaning and care

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the
plug from the mains power socket!
Risk of electric shock!
NEVER immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it. Otherwise there is a risk
of burns!
It is best to clean the appliance and accessories
as soon as they have cooled down. This makes
food residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. These could damage the surface
of the appliance!
Do not clean the components of the appliance
in a dishwasher!
Do not clean the cooking chamber with an
oven spray as this may make residues on the
heating elements impossible to remove.
Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. If neces-
sary, put a little mild detergent on the cloth and
wipe the appliance off afterwards with a cloth
dampened with clean water. Dry everything
properly.
