Function switch

On the function switch 4 you can switch the large
hotplate 1 or the oven on:

"Small hotplate" level switch

You can switch the small hotplate 2 on using
the "small hotplate" level switch 5. There are
4 temperature levels available for you.

Temperature control

Using the temperature control 3 you can set the
required temperature for the "top heat", "bottom
heat" and "top and bottom heat" oven functions.

Grilling and baking in the oven

NOTE
You can use the oven at the same time as the
small hotplate. However, you cannot use it at the
same time as the large hotplate.
1) Put the crumb tray 8 into the appliance.
2) Remove the rack 0 and baking tray 9 from
the appliance. If required, cover these with
baking paper or lightly grease the baking tray 9
with suitable baking fat/oil.
3) Close the glass door 7.
NOTE
Depending on the meal, the oven must be
preheated. Refer to the guidelines in the
respective recipe. Preheating is useful for:
very short baking times,
crisp crusts,
sensitive meals that require a constant
temperature, such as souffl és.
4) Allow the appliance to heat up for approx. 10
minutes (depending on the temperature setting)
to the required temperature:
Select the required temperature using the
temperature control 3.
Select the required function with the function
switch 4. The indicator lamp 6 illuminates.
5) When the oven has heated up, place the food-
stuff s on the rack 0 or the baking tray 9 and
slide it in on one of the rails. Ensure that there
is suffi cient space between the foodstuff s and
the inner walls/heating elements of the appli-
ance.
