b) Adjusting tooth backlash

Control tooth backlash at regular intervals. Tooth backlash has to be adjusted at the latest when the electric motor, the
motor pinion or the main pinion is exchanged.
To do this, loosen the two fastening screws of the electric motor so that you can move the motor with slight pressure in
the direction of the main pinion.
The motor pinion and the main pinion now engage with one another backlash-free.
Put a thin paper slip between the motor pinion and the main pinion. Then manually turn the main pinion so that the
paper strip is pulled in between the two pinions.
The pressure of the paper pushes back the electric motor as much as necessary. Now fasten the fastening screws of
the motor in this position.
When you turn back the main pinion afterwards so that the paper strip can be taken out again, the two pinions will have
the right distance to each other.
c) Changing the crystal
There must be no other transmitters/models with the same frequency in the range of the transmitter, as these transmitters
interfere with each other. As a result, the models no longer respond correctly to the transmitter commands. If there are
other model vehicles in your range, talk to the other operators about the frequencies they use.
Only use suitable accessory crystals for the transmitter and the receiver.
Before changing a crystal, first turn off the vehicle and then the transmitter.
Transmitter crystals are labelled "T" or "TX", receiver crystals are labelled "R" or "RX". Do not mix up the crystals to
ensure proper function.
