Electrical Connection
Note:
GND pin from X31 or X32 is connected to GND in the unit, i.e. with the encoder connections as well.
A trigger is triggered at each edge from LOW to HIGH. In reference to the differential signals this means:
U : Low to High
Trigger,In+
U : High to Low
Trigger,In–
Recommendation: The external trigger source should address the EIB 741 via differential signals.
If the application requires the use of single-ended signals, the following applies:
The sensitivity to interference increases, since the EMC guidelines under which the EIB 741 was tested are not maintained. The
use of 5 V TTL signals is recommended.
The differential signals should then be wired as follows:

The vacant input should be kept open and the terminating resistor must be switched off.
